Review
Despite its moniker, Smart ImageConverter seems to place the greatest focus on its editing tools. The main window is easy enough to navigate, though its large buttons consume more space than necessary. You'll find many editing features to like, such as tools for resizing, zooming, flipping, and adding effects. However, we never located the sharpening feature, a crucial tool in image editing. Also, we thought the process of tweaking images takes too long. You have to select an effect, change the image's scale, and preview the result before you can apply your changes. Similarly, you won't find a one-click zoom. Instead, you must resize files in terms of percentage. Happily, the app performed its conversion duties well in our tests, letting us quickly and easily change images into more than 60 formats. Performance issues aside, Smart ImageConverter's plethora of features will be a boon to anyone who needs a better level of control over graphics.
