Review
This utility allows you to easily schedule or force a shutdown of your computer, although some minor features are lacking or simply do not work. Reboot Buddy features a rather simple and boring interface with several one-click process buttons, drop-down menus for scheduling, and an online help file. Users can set a schedule to lock, reboot, shutdown, or log off the computer. The schedule can be set to occur once or repeatedly. In an emergency, users also can choose the force option to allow the computer to perform the task without saving work in any open applications. Our tests showed quality results each time. The X button, which is supposed to close the program does not work, but users can easily use the exit button located directly below it. All users will find the scheduling feature handy, even though all other features are already present within Windows.
