Description
Move your dog, Arg, before it gets eaten by a monster. Link sausages together as a path for Arg to get to a bone, biscuit, bomb, bird, or cat. There are three fun game modes with multiple special items to get you going. You can bomb the monster, burn it with a hot sausage, or blast it with a juicy sausage, but beware, it comes back to life. Eat as many sausages required to get to the next level.
Review
The poor graphic design of this puzzle-style game gets in the way of the gameplay. In Sausages, you're supposed to rotate titles containing the titular meat products to lead a dog away from a monster. However, because the sausages are arranged in a V shape, it's not clear which end should point where. The in-game instructions don't clarify that point, and the funky font makes them difficult to read anyway. At least the audio works well enough. The game features three modes: arcade, arcade blast, and puzzle. The trial version shuts down the program and opens up the publisher's Web site after each death. Dedicated fans of 2D arcade games might enjoy Sausages.
