This tribute to Eugene Jarvis's seminal arcade shooter Defender, heavily inspired by Mutant Storm, features all the ingredients that made the game a classic. Review
This space shooter reminds us of many other games we ve seen, but since it s totally free and highly configurable, we still can lend it some support. In this side-scrolling game, your job is simple: blow away as many enemies as you can before reaching the end of the level. Alien Abduction s graphics left us with mixed emotions. While the game s design is rather old school and some of the enemy ships look more like tiny blips rather than spacecraft, the graphics are at least colorful. The sound effects are strictly average, but you will find a feature for turning them down. We re happy to report Alien Abduction packs a nice set of features, letting you play in full-screen mode, choose from several types of games, compete against other players, and reconfigure the control keys. Most users won t find Alien Abduction a ground-breaking affair, but since it doesn t cost a red cent, fans of space-based action games might take it for a spin every so often.
