This photo utility may be useful to help you put your photo archive in order. Although you can't drag and drop images from one folder to another, the folder view lets you resize thumbnails with one movement of the slider. The program adds an info tab to an image's File Properties window. You can quickly add captions and frames as well as searchable comments and category data to help organize your photo archive, which you can view as a slide show, album, or calendar. In addition, you can highlight areas of your photo using squares, circles, or arrows, although not text balloons. You can remove captions, frames, and shapes at any time, and the original photo remains intact. PhoTags also includes elementary photo-correction tools such as red-eye adjustment, contrast, color balance, cropping, and effects such as Emboss, Pencil, Black and White, and Sepia. More functionality around managing multiple photos would increase this program's usefulness, but it is a solid, basic tool for organizing photos.
