Description

In Sonic's most exciting adventure yet, you maneuver a team of three Sonic characters through massive levels to overcome the ultimate evil. Dr. Eggman is on the loose once again, but this time he'll have to take on three powerful characters at once. Whether he's trying to outrun Sonic or dodge Knuckles punches, he'll have plenty to contend with. All 12 characters have unique strengths that you'll take full advantage of to get your team through the course at full speed.

This is the PC demo of Sonic Heroes. In this demo the first team stage, "Seaside Hill," is open, and the save function has been disabled.

Editor review

Dynamic, unpredictable gameplay make this a superb installment in the Sonic series. Unlike the other games, instead of controlling one character, you lead a team of three. Sonic is good at accelerating, Tails at flying, and Knuckles at crushing enemies. You control them one at a time, and the other two just follow. The graphics are very impressive. Backgrounds and textures look colorful and bright, the models are well animated, and the flashes and special effects come so thick and fast, you'll find yourself dragged into the action as soon as you start playing. No common 3D platformer, Sonic Heroes is full of action, unexpected rides, jumps, and loops. Amazingly, these advanced graphical tricks don't slow down the slick animation a bit. The game's few slips include a somewhat unfriendly camera, a save-disabled, one-stage demo, and a rather low level of difficulty. Nevertheless, it's a great game for kids.
