Description
The Aromatherapist can manage clients and oils with a single program. The client and oils data can be reviewed and changed. Oil type, quantity and cost can be managed with the oils manager providing the Aromatherapist with an inventory tool. Version 4.346 may include updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Review
This basic, ho-hum program claims to help aromatherapists keep track of aroma-oil inventory and clients, but it is not easy to use or navigate. ACTS demo's clunky interface launches new windows with each function, quickly cluttering the desktop. Even though it comes with preloaded samples of client profiles, the demo doesn't allow users to create new ones for a hands-on experience. The Essential Oils database comes with 21 preloaded samples with detailed chemical compositions, but the program lacks simple tools such as sorting and printing. Additionally, the program seems less than professional due to the misspelling of common words. To add to this program's woes, the ability to calculate the cost of therapeutic sessions is difficult. Though ACTS was designed to help make the aromtherapist's job easier, the clunky demo will only add more frustration.
