Showcase is a powerful application that lets you quickly create customizable image-database solutions. With a few mouse clicks, you can automatically search, identify, organize, and display all the images on your computer or network in a customizable display window. You can document each image with up to 200 category, text, number, date, and image user-defined fields as well as rearrange, resize, and format the layout of all your information.
Version 3.4.13 features user-defined categories, and record ordering by dragging image thumbnails.

This image-management tool allows you to create customizable databases of your files, but its confusing interface will have you wondering where to start. Once you invest the time to learn how to maneuver within Showcase, its relational database engine makes it possible to document, query, and sort thousands of images. Showcase scans folders on your PC and creates a database from which you can search and organize images in a customizable window that can display thumbnails, larger images, or a combination of both. You also can create slide shows and import the records into Microsoft Access. Showcase is not for home users hoping to quickly organize digital photos, but if you have a large number of images to catalog and are familiar with database functionality, you may want to check it out.
