Review
This application gives you control over your PC's accessibility in a compact package, although its browser capabilities are minimal. Deskman Pro halts access to many of the configurable preferences offered on your system. Using its efficient interface, we were able to lock and hide our Start menu and taskbar and even disable the logoff, reboot, and shutdown functions. You can easily block other users' access to the Windows date and time feature, drives, folder options, the Registry editor, and the Recycle Bin in a few clicks. As far as online operations go, Deskman Pro is limited to Internet Explorer users. We quickly restricted downloading, hid our Favorites list and toolbar options, and prevented the closing of open IE windows. You can run this dominant program in stealth mode, use a hot key to access it, and even enlist password protection for added security. Although this program offers great system protection, only IE cronies can benefit from its full dexterity.
