Description
Nici automatically finds, downloads, and organizes free pictures and movies from the Web. View your pictures in a slideshow, with morphing and in full screen, normal or monitor window modes. Organize your pictures by giving them a rating out of 10, or by using picture categories. Track, which pages you have already downloaded and which are fresh links. Stop others from accidentally accessing your pictures with Nici's security and privacy features. Note that Nici does not support Web pages constructed using scripting or Websites that require authentication. Nici uses a proprietary HTTP downloading engine, which can simultaneously download from up to 10 different pages, and does not pollute your system's cache, cookie and history folders. Version 2.1 includes improved slideshows.

This is one image download program where you better read every prompt during setup. Though not openly promoted, Nici is widely used as a program that searches for, downloads, and secures adult images. If you fail to disable the "accept and enable adult only" feature and set the program to autopilot, Nici will automatically download porn images from its listed sites. The program also features an obscure mode that renames and hides files so others can't find them. The program is full of customization features, including more than 10 interface skins. If you use the search feature, it defaults to Google and AltaVista, with limited returns. This is an easy-to-use program that comes with a 15-day trial, but if you don't pay careful attention during the install, you'll end up with a large collection of adult-oriented content on your computer.
