Review
Any digital photographer, no matter how untrained, wants to make their pictures look better. Photo Equalizer takes an unusual approach to brightening and color-correcting photos, focusing on the shade of individual pixels based on their context in the photo. However, the program is limited compared even to some other free photo editors. It does install quickly, and provides a smooth editing and preview process, but offers only the ability to modify aspects such as JPEG quality, color, and brightness, while leaving out typical features including zoom, rotation, and resizing. That lack is likely to narrow Photo Equalizer's audience to photographers making only the most minimal adjustments to their work, despite its useful features.
