EzCalendar is a skinnable desktop calendar that has on-calendar event reminder, moon phase, sunrise/sunset time and holidays. You can access it from system tray. The event reminder alerts you of important dates and times. You can configure an event to repeat on a minutely, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, or just to remind once. EzCalendar displays all events on calendar. Version 1.71 supports calendar background image.

This feature-packed application combines the functions of a desktop calendar and an event reminder, exceeding expectations on one of the two counts. EzCalendar, which writes to the system tray, has an inviting interface with icons that give you a weekly, monthly, or list view of your calendar; allow you to add, edit, or delete reminders in predefined categories; and view program options. We like the skinnable calendar; you can add any image file as the background image and adjust the window and toolbar texture. EzCalendar also comes preloaded with holidays and sunrise and sunset times, as well as moon phases, which many others in this category don't offer. The reminder feature, while decent, is a little less thrilling. Reminders pop up in the middle of the screen, and the default alarm sound is an annoying beep. Thankfully, you can select a WAV file as your alarm. Although the drop-down list of start times shows only 15-minute increments, you can set more specific times. With its 15-day trial, we recommend EzCalendar to all users wanting to use an all-in-one calendar and reminder.
