Description
System Alive lets users build a list of TCP/IP systems (devices and networks) to verify their availability. The program periodically pings each system to determine its availability. After issuing a ping request, the program waits for a reply. If the program receives a failed ping request, different alarm and alert messages can be sent, including e-mail messages. The program also logs the system availability events. Alert types can be set per system.
