Description
QE SuperResolution is a tool for enhancing the quality and resolution of images. It is based upon combining image information from several similar images taken from a movie sequence, or consecutive shots from a still camera. The software automatically extracts the information about a particular region of interest from all images, and uses the information to recreate an image with higher resolution and quality, compared to any individual image of the sequence. This software is currently optimized for video sequences from DV (digital video) camcorders. Material from other video sources can be used as well, however, the quality of the enhanced image may depend on the quality of the source.
