Description
Create custom splash screen applications that display a Flash movie or an image on screen, and then run a program or any other type of file. Use transparent images with variable or single color transparency - perfect for non-rectangular splash screens. Optionally generate an Autorun file for use with splash screens that are distributed on CD. Specify system requirements that must be met for a splash screen to run - splash screens can check the operating system, screen resolution and color quality of the end user's computer. Incorporate audio to play a signature tune, sound effect, or oral message when a splash screen is displayed. Specify the exact length of time that a splash screen is shown for, and specify the point at which the target file is run. A number of example splash screens can be downloaded from the manufacturer's Web site.

Ultrasimplistic in nature, this application creates splash screens for any application on your system. Splash Screen Machine's plain design is clear-cut, allowing you to get the job done in just a few clicks. During analysis we effortlessly grabbed a BMP image to be displayed before launching our specified program. You also can choose JPEG and PNG images, as well as SWF flash files. We easily coupled the image with a WAV audio file and instantly created a nice little presentation. The configurable timer for determining how long the splash screen will display before running a program was no trouble to set up. Splash Screen Machine doesn't offer text splashes as do some, but it gives the option to create autorun files for CDs. Though the stingy two-day trial is unappealing, most users will appreciate how simple it is to create splash screens using this trouble-free application.
