Description
They meet in the Hong Kong underworld. Some are here for the money, some are here for the glory, and some are here because of a slight misunderstanding. But now they are here, it will be settled. Mr. Chens quest for a wife takes him from mainland China to the bright lights of Hong Kong. Never did he expect to encounter so many unsavory characters. Luckily for him, his fighting lineage stands him in good stead. The game provides individual stories for each character--7 fighters, 7 stories.
Review
Average 3D graphics and good animations of fighters do not make up for terrible controls, ridiculously short trial time, unfriendly interface, and stability problems. Actually, Chinese Boxing is such a disappointing game that we are sorry to see the efforts of the 3D artist completely wasted. You control a Chinese fighter and have to deliver more blows to your opponent to win. The game's controls are designed with gamepad in mind, but playing with keyboard is also possible, which we did. You can't remap the keys, and the default layout is a chore to use. We hated the fact that the characters can't jump here. The selection of attack is not imaginative, and the fight itself lacks action. On the background there is some boring Chinese music theme, which made us yawn. The fights are preceded and concluded with repetitive Chinese conversations, where the same words are repeated making an impression of a bug. Generally this game is very amature, and we laughed when after seeing the price of 20 bucks we read in the readme file that the developer was not going to take any responsibility for the harm, which this software can cause to your computer. And finally there is only one battle to play. Put short, don't load this junk.
