Review
When we compare this CD-ripping application to its competitors, we find it quite limited. Audio MP3 Maker can only extract tracks in the MP3 and WAV formats, neglecting other popular codecs such as OGG and WMA. You will find a tool for turning WAV files into MP3s, but the app lacks extensive conversion features. If you choose to output tunes in the MP3 format, you'll find an option for using the VBR compression scheme. However, unlike many of the better ripping apps on the scene, this one can't even retrieve track information from the Web. To make matters worse, the demo will only extract the first five songs on any given disc. On the plus side, the interface is easy to grasp at first glance, and ripping speeds seem acceptable. Overall, though, it's tough to recommend this program over many other similar utilities.
