Description
This screensaver takes place in a mysterious rain forest, surrounding a lost traveller in his tent. With almost real camp fire animation that never winks out, a real river water movement, a foggy weather, and a mysterious tempting music.
Review
Another impressive screensaver from Salah Al Sammak, a.k.a. MetalTear. In Perfect Runaway, an unseen traveler has pitched a tent beside a stream in a gloomy forest. As rain falls steadily, a campfire somehow burns outside the tent. Melancholy guitar rock plays beneath the spattering sound of raindrops. The bleak forest looks lovely, though the tent and the campfire seem pasted onto the background, and the stream ripples a bit too much. The scant handful of options lets you mute the sound, play the screensaver at different sizes, and return to Windows by mouse movement or a keypress. Perfect Runaway isn't perfectly polished, but it ought to appeal to moody teenage romantics.
