Though it isn't conveniently accessible, this security tool painlessly encrypts files and folders. CipherWall Self-Decryptor provides an impressive number of encryption methods and compression options. You can either browse for documents or simply drag and drop files onto its functional interface and create self-decrypting backup files. CipherWall Self-Decryptor can be set to wipe over files as many times as you'd like, and offers three wiping algorithms. We find the passphrase and key-file generators to be useful additions. Outshining other encryption tools, this application creates self-decrypting EXE archives. Naturally, self-decrypting archives are password-protected and prompts recipients for the passphrase and/or key files during decryption. CipherWall Self-Decryptor doesn't include an uninstaller or place shortcuts on your desktop or in the Start menu. It doesn't offer hot keys for quick access, and you're forced to browse for the application's folder to run it. Overall, given this freeware's full set of features and speedy performance, we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective encryption/decryption tool.
