Cyberoam Web Filter Control

Although this program does offer some content filters, some efforts aren't as steady as they should be. Cyberoam Web Filter Control creates a profile for each user you add to its basic interface. After entering the username and a password, you classify whether it's a user account or an administrator account. The program assigns an alterable set of default filters to each account created to block sites with adult content, nudity, drugs, and gambling. Advanced filters let you create a blacklist to block sites and a whitelist to allow sites according to URLs. During our tests, the default filters worked perfectly under the administrator account, presenting us with an access-denied page when we attempted to launch a questionable site. The user account, on the other hand, wouldn't permit surfing of any kind, even though the filters were the same as the administrator account. Also, Cyberoam Web Filter Control doesn't offer the online-scheduling features of competitive programs, but it is secure since it requires the main administrator password to uninstall it. Parents can block dodgy material using this program, though it doesn't give full control over kids' online surfing.
