Description
MetaTrieve is an enterprise-wide natural-language metadata search and query tool for relational databases. Input search terms like 'purchase order date' will locate appropriate database, table and column throughout the company that correlate to the business meaning despite structure, label or format. Once located, MetaTrieve allows querying of actual data from these sources. MetaTrieve also has a cross-database join capability that enables joining information across vendor databases (join Oracle with SQL Server, for example).
In addition, MetaTrieve has a unique XML Match feature that will match B2B XML document tags with equivalent internal database elements.
