The supported video formats are AVI (DivX, XviD, MPEG-4, uncompressed, and Cinepak), MPEG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VCD, SVCD, PAL, NTSC), WMV, QuickTime MOV, RealMedia, DVD, and ASF.
Version 3.9 added new batch conversion and fixes major bugs on previous version
Review
This utility presents a handy solution for batch-converting video files among various formats. Most of the stability problems we noticed in previous versions of iVideoMax have been resolved. The application has a nice, clean interface and a convenient main window. It supports AVI, WMV, MPEG, RealMedia, ASF, and QuickTime formats. The conversion process takes relatively little time. You'll find nice features for tweaking your files, including the ability to change the frame rate and width, and a utility for merging as many clips as you'd like. We liked the idea of creating a full-sound video from images, but note you should slow down the frame rate to one if you're working with still images. The program also can split clips into up to an astounding 100 segments, providing plenty of codec choices, but there's no control over segment size, length, or start and end points. Home-movie enthusiasts and Web-video addicts may enjoy iVideoMax.
