Easily download and display extensive weather information with this handy, but flawed, program. Cli-Mate's dialog window interface takes little study to operate. Novice users probably won't even need the short Help manual.

Operating Cli-Mate is as simple as clicking to display. Using pull-down menus and four function buttons, users download and display local and national weather information and images. After selecting a default city, users can manually or automatically update current weather conditions for the program's display. The usual temperature, conditions, visibility, barometric pressure, and humidity are cleanly displayed in the small window. The Image function lists more than two dozen weather maps, satellite photos, and other images for one-click display. Some images are no longer available, but it is easy to add links to favorite weather images.

During testing the Cli-Mate failed to save cities selected as favorites. More importantly, the application crashed with a run time error when the Extended Forecast function was selected. Even with those flaws, this freeware can be a handy tool that provides extensive information for anyone interested in the weather.
