Tiny freeware calculator is a specialized tool that works simply to compute total hard drive space in a RAID system. RaidCalculator's dialog interface sports two fill-in-the-blank boxes and a pull-down menu. Users merely need to fill out the number of disks used, hard drive size, and type of RAID.

RaidCalculator's best feature is an autocheck function that warns users if they're attempting to use the wrong number of disks for the chosen RAID type. On error, the program helpfully suggests the minimum needed drives.

A fast portable executable that easily fits in an USB toolbox, RaidCalculator is a must-have freebie for every system administrator.
