The story of Wildstar takes place on Nexus - a planet once inhabited by the Eldan race who were known for their advanced technology and mysterious powers. The Eldan disappeared without explanation centuries ago leaving behind only ruins scattered across Nexus.
Now two factions - The Dominion and The Exiles - have arrived on Nexus with conflicting goals: The Dominion seeks to reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs while The Exiles are searching for a new home after being forced out of their own worlds.
