GPS-GPX Logger for Windows 10: The Ultimate Travel Companion

Are you an avid traveler who loves to explore new places and document your journeys? Do you want to keep track of your trips and map out your routes with ease? Look no further than GPS-GPX Logger for Windows 10, the ultimate travel companion.

This app is designed to make mapping and trip logging a breeze. It uses the built-in GPS/GNSS device in your Windows 10 tablet and/or phone to map and log your trips. You can view the path in real-time on the installed Microsoft Here map, log your trip, and save it to a GPX file. Saved files can also be imported into Google Earth, Microsoft MapPoint or Streets and Trips, as well as many other apps that read GPX files.

One of the best things about this app is its compatibility across devices. You can download it on both your Windows 10 PC/tablet AND phone, making it easy to access all of your saved data from anywhere. Plus, you can import/export placemarks to a local file or cloud storage file in clear text XML format. Edit them easily in any text editor.

But what if something goes wrong while you're using the app? No worries - if you need to log data while running GPS tracking, be sure to start saving right away so that even if the app or phone/tablet crashes, you'll still have almost all of the data minus a minute or two.

Saved GPX files can also be used with FreeLogBook.biz - an electronic logbook that helps track mobiles within a company - making this app perfect for business travelers as well.

And now with its latest update, GPS-GPX Logger for Windows 10 works under lock screen or in the background so that even when not actively using it on-screen; it continues logging coordinates without interruption!

Compatibility

It's important to note that this app is designed specifically for use with GPS/GNSS Geolocation devices built into newer tablets and Windows phones. If you don't have one of these devices equipped with a GPS chip then unfortunately tracking won't work; however maps are still viewable! Please don't give this great tool low ratings because of something limited by hardware beyond our control!

Additionally: The tracking does not work with an external GPS connected by USB or com port (even if installed inside laptop). This limitation is due solely because of how Microsoft has implemented their operating system (Windows 10) rather than any fault within our application itself – sorry!

Features

GPS-GPX Logger for Windows 10 offers several key features:

Live mapping: View real-time updates on where you are located at any given moment during travel.

GPX File Playback: Load previous GPX files from past trips & replay them on maps at either real-time speed OR accelerated speed.

Custom Placemarks: Add up-to three custom placemarks per trip!

Offline Maps: Download maps locally onto device(s) via "Download Maps" button.

Compatibility With Other Devices/Applications: App should also be able load/display GPX files from other popular brands such as Garmin Nuvi etc., but please let us know if there are issues so we may address them accordingly!
