World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the latest addition to the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) franchise, World of Warcraft. Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, this game takes players on a journey through the world of Azeroth as they fight to defend their faction and secure their place in history.
The story of Battle for Azeroth picks up where Legion left off. The world has been saved from destruction at the hands of the Burning Legion, but now a new threat looms on the horizon. The Alliance and Horde are once again at odds with each other, and it's up to players to choose which side they will fight for.
One of the most exciting features in Battle for Azeroth is the addition of six new playable Allied Races. These races include four that players have encountered during their campaign against the Legion: Highmountain Tauren, Nightborne Elves, Void Elves, and Lightforged Draenei. One such challenge is found in Proudmoore - an area filled with power-hungry pirates, witches wielding death magic, mystical sea priests, and more. Players must navigate this treacherous landscape while untangling webs of betrayal and dark magic.
Other areas that players will explore include Tiragarde Sound - known for its stony peaks; Drustvar - home to high plains and red forests; Stormsong Valley - featuring intricate inland canals; among others.
