HM WebCopy: The Ultimate Browser Extension for Capturing and Saving Web Pages

Are you tired of saving entire web pages with annoying banners, ads, and navigation elements? Do you want to capture only the interesting part of a web page without compromising its text structure and formatting? If yes, then HM WebCopy is the perfect solution for you.

HM WebCopy is a browser extension that works seamlessly with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and other popular browsers. It allows you to capture any desired area of a web page by simply selecting it with your mouse cursor. Once selected, you can save the captured area as an HTML file on your computer.

The best part about HM WebCopy is that it removes all the unwanted elements from the captured area such as banners, ads, pop-ups etc. This means that you get a clean version of the content without any distractions. Additionally, if there are multiple sections on a single page that interest you but are not adjacent to each other then HM WebCopy allows capturing them separately in one go.

Another great feature of HM WebCopy is its ability to retain text structure and formatting as similar as possible to those of the original web page. This means that when you open up your saved HTML file later on your computer it will look almost identical to how it appeared online.

Moreover, if there's additional information about the original source of the web page which needs mentioning then this can be added optionally while saving it using HM WebCopy.

5) Cost-effective solution: Compared with other similar tools available in market today - HmWebcopy offers excellent value-for-money proposition making sure customers get more bangs for their bucks spent on purchasing licenses or subscriptions thereof!

Review

HM WebCopy is a handy add-on for both Firefox and Internet Explorer that lets users save Web page content without all the ads and other clutter that often fills Web sites these days. Although the application didn't knock our socks off, we can see how it would be useful if you frequently need to save HTML files without the mess.

HM WebCopy is quite easy to use. Let's say, for example, that you find a news story online that you'd like to save as an HTML document, but you don't want all the ads and other detritus that surround it. Simply highlight the text you want to save, right-click, and selected HM WebCopy from the context menu. A small interface appears that lets you choose the formatting style, file name, and any additional text (such as the date the files was accessed) that you'd like to add. The program then saves the page as an HTML file with the selected formatting. We tried HM WebCopy in both Firefox and Internet Explorer, and it worked well in both browsers. The add-on isn't perfect; depending on how a particular Web page is formatted, it may or may not be effective. Sometimes you have no choice but to highlight objects that you don't really want in order to get the whole story, and HM WebCopy offers no way to edit these out. Still, the program works well for the most part, and its built-in Help file is well written and thorough.

HM WebCopy has a 30-day trial period. The program installs politely but leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
