PDF Imposition Desktop Edition is a powerful graphic design software that automates the process of imposing pdf documents. With this software, you can easily 2up, 3up, 4up, 6up, 8up, 10up or 12up a pdf document. For example, with a/b 2up page one is on the left and page two is on the right. With split 2 up (4-page document), page one is on the left and page three is on the right. Then page two is on the next page left and page four is on the right.
This software also has an optional -down parameter for imposing downwards on a page rather than across it (left to right). The output size can be controlled as well as offsetting of second-page position with margin controls.
PDF Imposition Desktop Edition also offers optional duplex options for outer-in booklets. For instance, if you have an eight-page source document that you want to impose in a booklet format using this option will give you output pages:

6-3
4-5
This means that there are four pages of output for duplex printing. There are other duplex options available such as;

1-4
2-3
Additionally, there's an optional -duplicate option for duplicating pages so that you get identical copies of each imposed sheet.
The software also offers rotate all odd or even pages option which allows users to rotate their documents according to their preferences before imposition.
