Volstead 1.4

Windows / Falco Software / 1 / Full spec
Description

Volstead is a strategic turn-based game set in the United States during the 1920s, when the Volstead Act was declared. It is designed for 1 to 5 players in hot-seat mode and offers an immersive gaming experience with lots of possible strategies. The game mechanics are easy to understand, making it suitable for both experienced gamers and newcomers alike. Each game typically takes between 20 and 60 minutes to complete, depending on how many players are involved. The texts in the game are available in both English and Spanish.

Volstead is a unique take on strategy games that will challenge your tactical skills as you attempt to outwit your opponents. You'll need to think carefully about each move you make as you strive for victory over your opponents - no two games will ever be the same! With its simple yet engaging gameplay, Volstead provides hours of entertainment for all ages.

The goal of Volstead is simple: be the last player standing by eliminating all other players from the board! To do this, you must use clever tactics and strategy while managing resources such as money, influence points, and action cards wisely throughout each round of play. As rounds progress, more powerful action cards become available which can help turn the tide of battle in your favor - but beware; these cards can also be used against you by other players!

Each round begins with a bidding phase where players bid on action cards using their influence points or money (or both). After bidding has concluded, each player takes turns playing their action cards until all have been played or discarded - whichever comes first. During this phase it's important to keep an eye on what other players are doing so that you can anticipate their moves before they make them! Once all actions have been resolved (including any special abilities triggered by certain card combinations), it's time for combat resolution where damage inflicted upon opposing units is calculated based on attack strength versus defense strength values assigned to each unit type present on board at that time. After combat resolution has finished any remaining units belonging to defeated opponents are removed from play while those belonging still standing remain until next round begins again with another bidding phase followed by another round of combat resolution if necessary until one player remains victorious over all others!

Volstead offers an exciting gaming experience full of surprises every time you play thanks its wide variety of possible strategies combined with its replayability factor – no two games will ever be exactly alike! Whether playing solo or against friends/family members/strangers online via hot-seat mode; Volstead provides hours upon hours worth of entertainment sure to please even most seasoned gamers out there looking for something new & different from traditional strategy titles currently available today! So what are waiting? Get ready for some intense battles & show everyone who’s boss when it comes down winning at Volstead – good luck & may fortune favor thee brave warrior!!
