Tipi is dedicated for persons who want to send message in a safe way or hide secrets in safe place. Tipi can hide files or messages in pictures. Picture files are commonly used to store pictures on personal computers, or are attached to e-mails. This is good choice to send secret message, embedded in official, or monitored e-mail. If you need more security, Tipi can encrypt it and protect by password. Version 1.4 can hide 3 times more information in single image than previous releases.
Review
This application hides messages and files behind pictures, although an inoperative button and stability problems are concerns. Select one of the 10 images TiPi includes or simply grab an image from your PC. The program's user-friendly interface displays the location of your image, its size, and the amount of free space you have left to insert a memo. A quick press of the Hide button is all that's needed after the message is typed. We like that you can hide entire text files behind TiPi's graphics. Don't expect, however, to camouflage graphics files. Although there are two places on the interface from which to send e-mails, only the one on the toolbar works. While this 15-day trial effectively hides sensitive information from message recipients who don't have TiPi installed, messages are easily uncovered by those with TiPi, since the password-protection feature is disabled. This software also froze during testing. It certainly isn't one of our top picks, but most users will find that it works and is easy to use.
