Kernel for Writer is an OpenOffice document repair software which repairs and recovers data from corrupted and damaged .odt files. It helps in major corruption types of Writer documents. Free demo software of the writer recovery is available and can be downloaded free for evaluation purpose. The evaluation software repairs and recovers data from the file and saves it to the desired disk location, but it hides the original data and images with the word 'demo' and 'demo restriction'.
