Wieldy is a to-do list manager that is based on the principles of GTD (Getting Things Done). It allows you to manage your to-dos in a simple but effective way. To-dos can be created as thoughts and actions, which can then be assigned to the Next Action, Today, or Someday categories. Tasks can also be scheduled and listed in a calender-like overview, as well as linked to a project or simply put on hold. Wieldy also allows you to manage your contacts and delegate actions to them. Other features include support for data encryption, tagging, priorities, recurring action templates and synchronization with other PIMs like Outlook.

This flexible, easy-to-use program helps users organize and prioritize tasks with a variety of useful features. We think it's a great choice for anyone who's drowning in a sea of sticky notes or feeling that their to-do list is bigger than their short-term memory.
Wieldy has an attractive, intuitive interface that is not unlike those of Microsoft Office programs. The program's features are arranged in tabbed menus that are easy to navigate, and we were able to figure everything out with just a bit of experimentation. Wieldy does much more than just record a list of things you need to do; the program also lets you assign tasks to specific projects, schedule them for certain days, create recurring events, select the tasks you need to work on next, and even delegate tasks to other people. If you have an idea that you want to remember that doesn't exactly belong on your to-do list, you can save it as a thought. Tags can be assigned to tasks, thoughts, and projects, making it easy to find related items, and completed tasks can be moved to the Reference folder if you think you might need to refer back to them at some point in the future. Helpful mouseover tooltips describe each of the program's components, which makes up for the fact that the online Help file seems to be nonexistent. Overall, we were quite impressed with how powerful and flexible Wieldy is, and we recommend it.
