Description

ENRO is an app that helps you practice small acts of empathy in everyday life - called Act of Empatheme. Empatheme is a concept of a moment, symbolized by a color bead. It is the smallest form of empathy that cultivates openness, nurtures self-reflection, and inspires imagination.

The information regarding ENRO/Empatheme is available at https://en.empatheme.org/. Alternatively, you can access it from the Guide section in ENRO.

Your Act of Empatheme consists of two parts; Act [Nurture] and Act [Inspire]. With the Act [Nurture], you can follow through your calm and empathic moments and leave them behind. With the Act [Inspire], you can reflect on all your [Nurture] sessions, and support someone practicing the Act [Nurture] that you have connected to. The Act [Inspire] is visualized as Empagraph - a graph that not only displays your Empathemes but also encourages your continuous explorations by editing, writing, and communicating in empathic ways.

Throughout the entire [Nurture] session, the device must be placed flat on a surface to function properly. There are basic text instructions on the screen to not distract the users, and allow them to intuitively interact with the flow. Just sit relaxed, upright, in a quiet place, and wait for the flow of the 8 beads with their respective color.

The [Nurture] session begins automatically with the first yellow bead if the device is placed horizontally. On the second light-green color bead, slowly draw a complete circle by tracing the outline of the bead to continue with the [Nurture] session. Draw another circle around any proceeding bead to end the session and keep a record of it. Between the two circles you draw, your vocal expressions will drive the flow of the beads. The first circle starts the recording of the sequence of the flow, and the second circle ends the recording of any sound. Without drawing the second circle, the sound piece will not be recorded. At the end of the [Nurture] session, a red bead appears and fades away as the sign of the ending and recording.

Each color bead or empatheme, symbolizes a small moment: open (o), be (b), touch (t), smile (s), feel (f), calm (c), breathe (r) and ima (i), making up a string of small moments when your Act [Nurture] creates a sequence. Upon finishing the Act [Nurture], you have successfully created a sequence of empathemes.

Reflect on your Act [Nurture] in the Empagraph. Tap the top-left corner of the screen or swipe from left to right to access the Empagraph. The sequence of each empatheme is coded in the order "o - b - t - s - f - c - r - i and visualized as a string of colored beads. Every time, it results in a unique record of your act of Empatheme. You will continue to learn and enjoy how the string pattern will be made based on the timing of the circles drawn and your vocalized words.

Your vocalized words or phrases within empatheme are also collected and stored in the Empagraph as the seeds of inspiration for yourself. If you tap the grey root icon, you can listen to your voice or any sound recorded within the empatheme flow. The last empatheme ima is a proof that your Act [Nurture] have just created an [ i m a ] - an Interactive Moments of Actionby Empatheme.

Your Act [Nurture] will be updated on the Self tab, once you have logged in with your own account. It will simply remain a simple login page without logging in. Your session will be uploaded to the ENRO server when you finish your [Nurture] session.

In the Self section of Empagrah, you can review your past [Nurture] sessions, add texts to your seeds (vocalized speeches), or mark them with a leaf icon to remember. You can also choose to leave a note for each [Nurture] session.

You can support someone you care about by sharing their Empagraph. Your Empagraph can be shared with someone who supports you or someone who cares about you. In the Connection tab, you can see someone in connection with their Act [Nurture].
