Student/Classroom Observation and Analysis (SCOA) is a simple application for monitoring effective teacher practices and/or student behaviors in real time during classroom instruction. This data can be used between teachers as a professional development activity, as an assessment of the degree to which an individual student is responding to teacher instruction, or as an evaluation tool for administrators wishing to capture an index of the degree to which teachers are engaging students.
