Simple Draft is designed for metal building detailers. It uses a decimal format of whole numbers and four decimal places to translate to feet, inch, and sixteenths of an inch, respectively. For instance, 12.0204 = 12 foot, 2 inches, and 4/16 (1/4 inch). This quick input mimics a traditional calculator to allow for quicker input. In addition to basic arithmetic, built-in trigonometry functions help to calculate angles and dimensions. You have the option to save a state of your calculator to easily multi-task.
