Description
LightBrowser is a simple Web browser targeted at being small and decent. Button that doesn't work is not implemented yet. It is implemented on top of IE so its fully compatible. There is currently no skin or plug-in engine but i plan to implement that before version 1 is released.
Review
LightBrowser offers users an alternative to the more prominent browsers out there, but we didn't get very far as stability issues caused the program to stop working.
Aside from the stability issues, the program has a very drab interface and most of the menu items are in another language. We thought that perhaps clicking on each item would give us a clue as to its purpose, but clicking on them yielded nothing. There are no symbols for the navigation buttons, only words, which adds to the blandness of the program. Once we clicked on the Back button, an error message immediately popped up and the browser shut down and stopped working. We tried to run the application, but again, it stopped working.
Given the numerous shortcomings of this browser, it should come as no surprise that we advise you to steer clear of it.
